I have uploaded a little snippet of a slow dubby tune to MurdochSpace. Meanwhile I’ve been working on a squelchy dirty breakstep kinda tune .. it’s cheap and nasty but it has some promise.
Kobra Kai and Lotek play the Spectrum (Oxford St) on Sunday …
In April, keep your eye out for (yet) a(nother) net radio station launching, based in the UK: Alta Ego. Yeah, I know there are a lot around already, and “so what” is a fair call. But I’ve been chatting to the guy setting it up, he seems sound, and has a good music policy. And I’ll be playing a couple guest slots (probably alongside Slice, but he doesn’t know this yet). Is that good enough for ya? Cheez…

back to sydney
Back under the Sydney sun… looking forward to seeing Luciano, one of the best contemporary roots singers, at the Factory in Newtown on 26 January (which is a bank holiday). Maybe catch a little something from us the night after - but more on that once it’s confirmed.
I’m at work listening to Flight’s Future Beats and a mix by Scientist off Rinse FM (archived by BareFiles.com) … also it looks like the Infinite Potential boys have released an album for (paid) download release .. haven’t heard the whole thing but the sampler sounds good. As does their “Money” podcast which is funny as. Big up.

no stick
I’ve lost my USB stick so I can’t upload photos .. I would get another one, but that’d be the second one this trip 
Phat 07 was wicked .. highlights were Digital, Shapeshifter (of course), and a good solid set from ‘rider. I missed PBass Expressway What were they thinking, putting D-Bridge and Subfocus either side of midnight. Shite. But the festival itself was wicked. Gautham (who played a mad set at the preparty too) and Jake did a tireless job of interviewing (G) and videoing (J) .. check dnbtv.com in a few weeks for the results (I will post a link here).
Now I’m in Christchurch … Cal and Jake have left for Aus, and Gaut for the states. Time to recap and recover ..
